Waikato DNA Sequencing Facility
|
|
The Waikato DNA Sequencing Facility is part of the Department
of Biological Sciences at the University of Waikato; situated in Hamilton, New Zealand.
The facility offers a DNA sequencing service based on the Amersham
Biosciences
MegaBACE DNA Analysis System, providing sequences, SNP Types and genotypes for researchers from single-stranded, double-stranded,
PCR-derived and environmental DNA templates using energy transfer style
dye terminator chemistry.
- High throughput sequencing options
For large numbers of similar templates like clone libraries and environmental collections where a large sample numbers overwhelm the need for a result for every sample.
- Internal and collaborative projects
Students, staff and collaborative projects undertaken with the University of Waikato can be eligible for a special rate.
- Sequence Direct
Send in your plaque picks, colony picks, cell culture, phage
supernatant or glycerol stocks for sequencing without the need for DNA
preparation.
